We are all Making a Film!

Hi, it's Tara, reporting from the paperwork & financing front!

We have been so grateful for the support we've received for our Rwanda production fund through our Support page on the website.

I keep thinking about what a celebration we will have next summer, when we first screen this film.  What a party that will be!  Everyone sitting in a darkened theatre, opening credits rolling, knowing that they helped make this movie in a real way.  I'm going to reveal my geek side here and say that, for me, it may just rival the teenage excitement I felt when I lined up and saw the first Batman movie in the theatre.  I might just throw my baseball cap in the air this time too.

One of the areas where the funds are going is towards renting a camera to capture this journey - no camera = no film.  And then there is the production insurance, again protection for this camera and for any footage we capture.

This is very real, guys, we are making this film with your support and you will be the first to see it!
